Dr. Lisa Kahikina is a board-certified pediatrician, as well as a certified lactation counselor. She has over 8 years of experience practicing general pediatrics. Dr. Kahikina graduated from Kamehameha Schools, and received her B.A. in anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Hawaii, she returned home to attend the John A. Burns School of Medicine, where she completed her medical degree. She completed her residency with the University of Hawaii's Pediatric Residency Program.

She is married with twin daughters and a son. Her experiences as a mother, and in particular her unique perspective as a pediatrician with twins, has led her to understand the importance of having a social support network when raising a family. Helping families to build a supportive network, while laying the foundation for a whole-child approach to health, is one of her greatest passions.
