A family-owned and –operated venture, Da Wing Trading opened its doors earlier this year at 2006 Republican St., offering solid wood cabinets with plywood boxes (no MDF, particle-board or pressed wood) and granite countertops out of its 8,000-square-foot showroom.

These are solid woods, the good woods,” said Chan of the cabinets, which come standard with soft-close hardware and are available in four different color variations, including light cherry, maple, white (maple) and dark cherry (alder only).
