Meet Kalia.

Kalia Lynn Kohut is an INTUITIVE HEALER, LIGHT-WORKER and Yoga instructor offering her clients over 25 years of healing arts experience.

Kalia’s specialties include therapeutic Aromatherapy & Lymphatic Drainage Therapy. She also has advanced training in CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute. Kalia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology (Roosevelt University) and a Bachelor of Metaphysical Science degree (University of Metaphysics International) and is a member of the International Metaphysical Ministry as well as the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association. She is returning to Oahu after a 6-month adventure in the Boulder area. Before that Kalia had 15 years in practice in Kailua, nearly a decade in Austin, and a few years in the Chicago area, where she was born and raised.

Over time Kalia’s healing sessions have metamorphosed into blissful alchemy of intuition and skills, stepping out of traditional massage therapy and into another level of Whole Health Healing. Treatments are energetically harmonizing for the body, mind and spirit.

Kalia is expanding her outreach remotely via her new digital course “The 30-day Beat Betrayal Challenge” and is currently completing her autobiography which focuses on self-healing, forgiveness and the spiritual journey. Future projects include books and courses on self-care with essential oils, Lymph Drainage Therapy & Yoga.

A handful of years after 1994 college and massage school graduations, Kalia began to feel frustrated that her clients would experience only temporary relief from their chronic pain, rather than the long-term benefits they desired. In 2002, she began her CranioSacral Therapy training with the Upledger Institute. After integrating the first level coursework into her therapeutic sessions, she immediately began to see a positive shift in her business as clients happily experienced longer-lasting results. Upon completion of the advanced level coursework in 2005, she began offering high level healing for all types of bodily issues. Not only is she skilled in CranioSacral Therapy (CST) but also has training in Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT) along with various traditional therapeutic massage techniques.

The addition of plant medicine, in the form of essential oils, into her practice in 2003 accentuated the effectiveness of her healing sessions. Kalia found them to accelerate tissue release, circulation, boost the immune system and bring in emotional balance. To her, these amazing plant-based oils are like having a second set of hands. Originally, a Young Living Oils representative, she still loves to offer the Raindrop Technique essential oil protocol. Currently, a doTERRA Wellness Advocate, she also offers doTERRA’s Aromatouch Technique & Symphony of the Cells (by TruWellness) aromatherapy protocols. Furthermore, Kalia integrates her own therapeutic protocols using the recipes of her Ayurvedic balancing & Hawaiian-inspired body oils: LAVA (vata pacifying), BREEZE (kapha pacifying), PARADISE (pitta pacifying).
