Hello Friends of Gig’s Place,

We are reaching out to the Maui community in an effort to revitalize The Studio at Gig’s Place. After the loss of the founder and driving force of The Studio, Gig Spooner, we would like to keep his spirit and profound message alive by reopening his favorite place and pastime.

The Studio was to Gig a dream fulfilled, he had the friendship and association of Maui’s finest musicians, artists and people. all gathered together to share the Aloha that was naturally created at Gig’s Place. Anyone who walked through the doors was immediately welcomed by good vibes. They left with the feeling of happiness and satisfaction. Amazing.

In Gig’s honor we would like to try to recreate that atmosphere. It will be hard without Gig.

We are looking for the support of our ohana to help us to get the doors back open. There are basic monthly costs involved to secure and generate a lasting and successful agreement with Gig’s Place.
